Learn More About Repower America

The Repower America brand comprises two separate corporate entities, The Climate Reality Project and the Climate Protection Action Fund. The Climate Reality Project and the Climate Protection Action Fund each use the Repower America brand for their distinctive campaigns in order to do a broad range of work to address the urgency and solvability of the climate crisis. This Web site collectively refers to each organization’s efforts under the name “Repower America.”

Although there is some overlap in the work done by each organization under the Repower America brand, certain activities must be done by one organization and not the other. This is primarily in the area of lobbying. The Climate Protection Action Fund engages in direct and grassroots lobbying activities influencing legislative proposals and the passage of key federal climate and energy legislation. As an organization that is eligible to receive contributions that are tax-deductible by the contributor, federal law limits the extent to which The Climate Reality Project may engage in lobbying activities. Therefore, most of the lobbying activity done under the Repower America brand and discussed in this Web site is done by the Climate Protection Action Fund. By contrast, most of Repower America’s education efforts about the urgency and solvability of the climate crisis described in this Web site are done by The Climate Reality Project.
